Shipping from Jaipur
All orders ship from our office in Jaipur, India. Orders are packed and dispatched within two business days of payment clearing. Every stone is sealed in a labelled gem paper or box, with its report where applicable, and packed discreetly with no mention of gemstones on the outside of the parcel.
- International orders ship by DHL Express or FedEx International Priority, fully insured for the invoice value, with tracking and signature on delivery.
- Orders within India ship by India Post Speed Post (insured) or by a domestic courier for higher-value orders.
Shipping rates
Shipping is free and fully insured on all orders over $250. Below that amount, the following flat rates apply:
- India: $8
- USA and Canada: $28
- United Kingdom and European Union: $32
- Rest of the world: $38
Typical transit times
These are estimates after dispatch and are not guaranteed. Customs clearance can add time.
- India: 3 to 7 business days
- USA and Canada: 3 to 6 business days
- UK and Europe: 3 to 6 business days
- Middle East and Asia: 2 to 5 business days
- Australia and New Zealand: 4 to 7 business days
- Rest of the world: 5 to 10 business days
Customs, duties and taxes
We declare every shipment accurately, as loose gemstones at the invoice value. We cannot mark parcels as gifts or under-declare their value. Import duties, taxes such as VAT or GST, and brokerage fees charged by the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in our prices or shipping charges. If a shipment is refused because of import charges, the return shipping and any fees deducted by the courier will be subtracted from the refund.
Returns
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If a stone is not what you expected, you may return it on the following terms:
- Single stones and lots can be returned within 7 days of delivery, in the original sealed packaging with the tamper seal intact, and with any lab report included.
- Parcels (stones priced per piece) cannot be returned once the sealed paper has been opened, because we cannot verify that returned stones came from the same parcel. Unopened parcels can be returned within 7 days.
- Stones that have been set, re-cut, re-polished, or sent to a laboratory by the buyer cannot be returned.
- Return shipping is paid by the buyer and must be fully insured. The original shipping charge is not refundable, except where the stone was not as described.
How to start a return
- Email us at [email] or message us on [WhatsApp] within 7 days of delivery, with your order number and the reason for the return.
- We will send you a return authorisation and the address to ship to. Please do not send stones without authorisation.
- Ship the stone in its original sealed packaging, fully insured, with tracking. Customers outside India should declare the parcel as “returned goods, re-import of Indian origin” to avoid duties on our side; we will send you the wording.
- Once we receive and check the stone, we refund the item price to your original payment method within 5 business days.
Damaged or lost parcels
All shipments are insured. If a parcel arrives damaged or appears to have been opened, please photograph the packaging before opening it and contact us within 48 hours. We will handle the claim with the courier.
