Pricing and currency
All prices are in United States dollars (USD). For customers in India, payment may be accepted in Indian rupees at the exchange rate shown at checkout or on the invoice. Prices do not include import duties or taxes charged by the destination country. For Indian orders, GST is charged as required by law and shown on the invoice. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already accepted.
Order acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance by email and dispatch the goods. Most stones are one of a kind, and we may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if a stone has already been sold, if there is a clear pricing or listing error, if we cannot verify payment or the buyer’s identity, or if we cannot ship lawfully to the destination. For high-value orders we may ask for identity verification before dispatch.
Natural stones, colour and photography
All gemstones we sell are natural unless a listing clearly states otherwise. Natural stones contain inclusions and variations that are part of their character. We photograph every single stone ourselves without colour editing, but colour appears differently depending on lighting, the camera and your screen. Photographs and videos are a guide and not an exact colour match. Measurements and weights may vary slightly due to instrument tolerance. Parcel photos show a representative sample. If colour is important to your decision, ask for a daylight video before buying.
Treatment disclosure
We disclose all known treatments on every listing, using the terms unheated, heated, minor oil, irradiated or no treatment, in line with common trade practice. Heating of ruby, sapphire, tanzanite, zircon and aquamarine, oiling of emerald and irradiation of blue topaz are standard, accepted treatments. We do not knowingly sell glass-filled, diffused or dyed stones without saying so. If an independent laboratory later finds an undisclosed treatment on a stone bought from us, and the stone is returned in the same condition, we will refund the purchase price in full.
Laboratory reports
Where a listing gives a laboratory report number (for example GIA, GRS, SSEF or IGI), that report is included with the stone. Other stones come with our in-house report. Laboratory opinions, especially on origin, can differ between laboratories; we are responsible for the accuracy of our own descriptions, not for differences of opinion between independent laboratories. At your request and cost we will send a stone to a laboratory of your choice before shipping.
Payment
We accept PayPal and major credit and debit cards, and UPI or bank transfer for customers in India. Orders ship only after payment has cleared.
Chargebacks and disputes
If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first; most issues can be resolved quickly under our returns policy. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute for an order that was delivered as described, or while a return is being handled, may result in the order being contested with the delivery and insurance records. Items that are the subject of a chargeback must be returned to us in their original condition.
Title and risk
Risk passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once payment has been received in full. Shipments are insured by us until delivery.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for damage caused during setting, re-cutting or cleaning by third parties. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law that applies to you.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them or from a purchase on this website is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan.
