Lot of 15 Brazilian Citrines, 38.40 ct total

A mixed lot of fifteen golden yellow citrines in ovals, cushions, pears and emerald cuts, from about 8 × 6 mm to 12 × 10 mm. The colour is matched to a clear golden yellow, lighter than Madeira and warmer than lemon, across all fifteen stones.

The citrines are heated, as is almost all citrine on the market, and all are eye clean. Cutting is good commercial quality: symmetrical, with a few stones showing slightly thick girdles.

This lot is aimed at designers who want colour-coordinated stones in several shapes, jewellery students and anyone making one-off pieces. It works out to under seven dollars a carat and is sold complete.
