Lot of 8 Zambian Emeralds, 4.12 ct total

A set of eight pear-shaped emeralds, cut from Zambian rough and matched in pairs. The colour is a medium green with a light bluish tint, consistent across the set. Two pairs are marginally lighter than the others, which is normal in emerald and hard to see once the stones are set.

All eight have minor oil, the standard treatment for emerald. Clarity is included: you can see garden-type inclusions in most stones under a loupe, and in a couple of them face-up. These are natural characteristics rather than damage, but they do mean we would not recommend these for a claw-set ring worn daily on the hand.

Pears of 6 × 4 mm are a common size for flower clusters, drop earrings and petal settings around a centre stone. Eight pieces give you two pairs of earrings, or one cluster with spares. The lot is sold complete.

If a stone is not what you expected, tell us within 7 days of delivery and send it back in the condition and packaging it arrived in, together with any lab report. We refund the item price as soon as the stone is back with us.
