Ten oval tanzanites, calibrated to 7 × 5 mm and matched to a medium blue-violet. Tanzanite changes colour noticeably with lighting and viewing angle, which makes matching difficult; we compared these stones in daylight and under warm LED light, and the set holds together in both.

All ten are heated, as is standard for tanzanite, and eye clean. Average weight is 0.73 ct each.

The lot suits five pairs of earrings, a graduated necklace, or a line bracelet. Because tanzanite is softer than sapphire, we recommend settings that protect the girdle. The lot is sold as a whole.
